Camp Alvernia

At Camp Alvernia, we firmly believe that camp is a foundational component of youth development. At camp, children learn how to make friends, try new things, and take safe positive risks, guided by positive role models.

The Brother Robert LaFave Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to assist families in need. The fund is named in honor of Brother Robert LaFave, O.S.F., former director of Camp Alvernia, whose legendary generosity made the camp experience possible for many children who otherwise could not afford it.
